Fans were thrilled when Thomas Jane, the star of the 2004 movie The Punisher, and Jon Bernthal, the current Punisher in the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, met paths at a shooting range.
An Unexpected Meeting
Although there were early rumors of a combined training session, Bernthal made it clear at D23 2024 that their meeting was more of a coincidence. “We just so happened to be at the range on the same day,” he said, laughing. “But it was an amazing opportunity.”
Though the encounter was unplanned, Bernthal cherished the opportunity to get to know Jane, an actor he greatly admires. Bernthal said, “It was an honor to be around him, to hear him talk about it.” “He is somebody I greatly admire. Together, we had a terrific time.”

The return of Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page indicates that the new program will take into account the events of the previous Netflix productions. She said, “Our history is still there.” “What the characters have been through still exists, it’s still a part of who they are, we’re just catching up with them at a different point in their lives.”
