Hoda Kotb’s Olympic Gold: Snapping a Selfie with Tom Cruise

Hoda Kotb may not have participated in the Olympics in Paris, but she did manage to win a selfie with none other than Tom Cruise.
Recently, the anchor of Today shared the humorous tale of how she “lost her mind” to get the iconic picture with Cruise during the opening ceremony.
“I’m Crazy”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at her most recent birthday party, Kotb reminisced about her moment of stardom. It was absurd, she remarked. “Ten seconds after we were together, I had no idea what had transpired. I had a picture after I went insane.
After snapping her cherished selfie, Kotb posted it to Instagram right away, writing, “You know how you dream of meeting Tom Cruise… and then it actually happens.” The image of Kotb in a robe and a drenched Cruise went viral very fast.
Savannah Guthrie, her co-host, couldn’t resist making fun of Kotb for her fangirl moment. “The photo of Tom Cruise drenched in his robe is the Olympic photo,” laughed Guthrie. “If there were a gold medal for that photo, she’d win it.”

Celebrities like as Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, Jimmy Fallon, Charlize Theron, Serena Williams, and Snoop Dogg were drawn to the Paris games to show support for Team USA.
During the closing ceremony, Cruise, on the other hand, stole the show with a fantastic motorbike and helicopter stunt.
Kotb: Birthday Thoughts
Not too long after her Olympic journey, Kotb was 60 years old. She reflected on the achievement and gave an inspirational speech on her podcast, saying, “Your blessings will come when they arrive… My fifties were the beginning of my blessings. The best things started to happen at that point. I can only hope that all of those amazing things will abound in my 60s.
It appears that Kotb’s meeting with Tom Cruise at the Olympics is only the start of a fascinating new journey!
